The specialists provided context on the Central Bank's actions and analyzed the legal framework of the sector in five topics: “Regulatory architecture: overview of banking regulators and key regulations”; “Recent regulatory themes and key regulatory developments in Brazil”; “Bank governance and internal controls”; “Bank capital requirements”; and “Rules governing banks’ relationships with their customers and other third parties”.
