Marjorie Gressler Afonso

Marjorie works with antitrust, competition and regulatory law. In the antitrust area, her experience includes notifying mergers to the Brazilian Competition Authority (CADE) as well as representing clients in cartel investigations.
Marjorie also has experience with regulatory disputes, representing clients before many regulatory agencies, including the Brazilian Health and Sanitation Agency (ANVISA), state consumer protection agencies, and the Brazilian Oil and Gas Agency (ANP). She also represented clients in judicial procedures such as public civil law suits.
Before joining Levy & Salomão Advogados, Marjorie worked with competition law in Norton Rose Fulbright’s London office.
Marjorie graduated magna cum laude in Fundação Getulio Vargas. Her final course thesis was awarded the Alfredo Lamy Filho Prize for Innovation and received an honorable mention in the Miranda Rosa Prize for Quality. She studied at Harvard Law School in the fall semester of 2013.
